Tamara L. Lewis, BSN, RN – Nurse Consultant
Tamara is a Registered Nurse who started her nursing career in 1993 in Philadelphia, PA. She was originally licensed as an Associate Degree RN with an ADN from Eastern College, now Eastern University. Tamara went on to earn two bachelor’s degrees from the University of Texas at Arlington; she received both a BA in English (Cum Laude) and a BS in Nursing (Magna Cum Laude). Her nursing career has provided her with over 30 years of diverse nursing experience, including over 15 years of direct nursing care in various acute care settings including Medical-Surgical Nursing, Telemetry, Orthopedics, Neurology, Pediatrics, and Radiology.
Tamara also has over 14 years of experience in Utilization Management. In this capacity, she has worked for several insurance companies like Blue Cross Blue Shield and United Health Care learning the payer side of healthcare. She has experience in preservice review and medical claims review and has gained extensive knowledge in Medicare working on Medicare Railroad services as well as Medicare Advantage plans. Tamara obtained her Medicare Professional Level III certification in on all aspects of Medicare Parts A, B, C, and D services.
Tamara loves to watch movies, write and spend time with family and friends. She has a special heart for women and is grateful for every opportunity she gets to have a positive impact on the lives of others.
BJ Anderson, RN – Nurse Consultant
BJ started her nursing career in 1971 in Little Rock, Arkansas. She graduated from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock with an Associate Degree in Nursing. She spent over 30 years of her nursing career in acute care settings like Telemetry, ICU, and Medical Surgical nursing polishing her assessment and leadership skills. She also spent considerable time caring for patients in Skilled Nursing Facilities and LTACs. She spent the last 10+ years in Utilization Management, where she worked in Case Management, Preservice Review, Appeals, and Claims Review.
Her hobbies include sewing and walking for exercise. She is a leader in her local church and loves to share her faith when she has the opportunity.
BJ’s philosophy in life is “Whatever you do, do it well the first time and you will reap the benefits of a job well done.”
Duray is an ambitious young man with 10+ years of administrative experience. His experience includes several administrative roles including, 2 years as an Accounting Clerk for Burlington Coat Factory, one year as a Customer Account Representative for Oklahoma Natural Gas, and 8 years as an Office Manager for Lana Fuchs Couture. He is working part-time as an administrative assistant for AOC Health Services, LLC while pursuing other career opportunities.
Duray’s education includes general courses (Introduction to Accounting, Business Law, General Psychology, Algebra I and Computer Science) taken at Burlington Community College in Pemberton, New Jersey.
He is an avid Futures trader and in his spare time loves gaming with his friends, teaching Futures trading to newbies, and finding exotic desserts to sample.
